It is important for a coach of a team to be trained for the age group of which s/he is the coach. Very young players learn differently and play differently from older players. AYSO will provide you techniques and resources that fit each age group. Certification means that you have completed an age-appropriate course and that AYSO considers you qualified as a coach of players in that age division.



Next Advanced Coach Course: July 30-Aug 1 in Prescott, AZ

Qualification: Coaches certified as Intermediate Coach (U14)

Coaches certified Intermediate by August 1, 2009 will receive their Advanced certification immediately upon passing this course.
Coaches certified Intermediate in 2010 will receive their Advanced certification on the one year anniversary date in 2011. Location: Kuebler Field, Prescott, AZ

Contact Janelle Riedl (janelle-r@cableone.net) and Gordon Bowers (GordonB@DavaCivil.com) no later than July 1, 2010 with names and contact information of coaches planning to attend the Advanced Coach clinic.

Materials, lunches, water and snacks will be provided at the course. Lodging, transportation and additional meals to be paid by attendees' region.
